    Draw blueprints for forward-looking technology R&D; manage and evaluate resource allocation of green energy-related master plans; assist in the establishment of linking mechanisms among the industry, academia, and research institutions; strengthen the linkage between midstream and downstream R&D and the industry.

     

    Key tasks

    Draw blueprints and recommendations of the technology development strategy for Taiwan’s green energy industry

    • Analysis of key green energy technologies
      • Inventory and analyze green energy science and research projects of government agencies; collect related public opinion information; evaluate the technical requirements of the green energy industry.
      • Refer to related APRA-E and DARPA plans to adjust the technical inspection indicators for the main fields.
    • Draw blueprints for technology development strategies according to application scenarios

     

    Track and analyze international trends of advanced green energy technology and development strategies of major countries

    • Technical review of the green energy industry in Taiwan
      • Review industrial connections of academia and research institutes in technology development, with the help of analysis of foreign green energy industry trends .
    • Analysis of international green energy policy and industry technology
      • Analyze the policies, industry trends, and current state of green energy technology development proposed by international and non-profit green energy organizations, as well as by benchmark countries.

    Review the performance of green energy technology development projects

    • Review and tracking of the performance of green energy technology projects
      • Assist in tasks of strategy planning and review, master plans’ management and evaluation, and decision support, through the operations of the expert team consisted of domestic experts in the energy field from the industry, academia and research institutes.
      • Calibrate with the Board of Science and Technology and the review of mid-term master plans of government agencies, together with formative integration and the O&M and other management and evaluation mechanisms of the “Technology Development Information Platform”, to effectively manage and track the performance of green energy technology projects, to monitor green energy technology development, and to ensure continuous optimization of resource allocation.
    • Analysis and promotion of the achievements of green energy technology projects
      • Provide recommendations and plans for green energy technology-related consulting; summarize the results and analysis of the mid-term master plans; produce annual analysis of performance and technical reports in the energy sector; implement energy integration, and improve Taiwan’s green energy technology development strategies.
      • Hold networking seminars for industrial, academic, and research institutes; regularly publish the important results of mid-term master plans to increase public awareness and support of green energy technology development.
